Stylized opening animation created for NBA 2K in collaboration with 2K Games.

I directed the visual concept and story, working closely with the art and storyboard teams, and executed the animation from roughs through final delivery. The piece uses a painterly, illustrative style to portray a young athlete’s early-morning dedication and set the emotional tone for the game.
